No, it won’t. None of the claims by the doomsday prophets are based on science, just wild speculation. The people writing the books aren’t scientists and are just trying to make money. Here are some of the promoters of the 2012 hoax.
Zecharia Sitchen – an author, not a scientist, a proponent of the ancient astronaut theory, the Annunaki, and Nibiru.
Mark Hazlewood – author of a book predicting Planet X to come in 2003
The Hysteria Channel – promoting doomsday scenarios to increase viewers and sell advertising.
Nancy Lieder – a “contactee” who thinks she is getting information from entities from Zeta Reticuli.
The Mayans didn’t predict doomsday. It is just the end of the current cycle of their Long Count calendar.
Nostradamus didn’t predict it. He never mentioned 2012 and all the Nostradamus "quotes" being thrown around aren’t what he actually wrote. They are what some people have decided that he meant. Even Nostradamus scholars don’t agree on how the various centuries and quatrains should be interpreted.
The Bible never mentions 2012 or references it in any way. It talks about the end times, but there is no mention of when.
Nibiru/Planet X doesn’t exist.
The Sun isn’t going to be aligned with the center of the galaxy.
There is no actual planetary alignment. Sometimes the planets appear to be aligned in our view of the sky. This is a long way from actual alignment in space.
Geomagnetic reversal – These reversals of the magnetic field have occurred in the past, as shown by magnetic striping, but we can’t predict when they will occur again. However, the time between reversals is not constant, varying from less than 100,000 years, to tens of millions of years.
Although fast by geological standards, reversals are by no means quick on the human time scale. They take roughly 5,000 years, with estimates ranging from 1,000 years to 8,000 years.
Solar flares – These do increase and decrease in an eleven year cycle. They haven’t caused any serious problems in the past. The direct effects of solar flares are mainly related to communications and radio transmissions. We had a major series of solar flares in 2005.

No the world is not gonna end in 2012. mankind just loves to panic for absolutely nothing. its ridiculous actually. anyway it signifies the coming of a new era where people will be more spiritually aware and there will be less violence and mankind will start to show compassion for one another. People being born will be more psychic and intuned to the spirit world. People will become more open-minded and live for a higher purpose. Some people look at this as the end of the world because hey don’t kno wat to expect or they refuse to change. others look at 2012 as a new beginning to change and make the world better and do as much as possible to help save the earth.

The Mayan Long Count calendar clicks over from 12.19.19.17.19 to 13.0.0.0.0 on 21st December 2012. That’s all there is to it. The Mayans themselves never predicted the end of the world would happen at that time.
All the doomsday predictions attached to this date are, without exception, unscientific nonsense, perpetrated by frauds and hoaxers.

It’s much better to concern yourself with how you live than with how you will die. There are lots of people trying to scare you these days in order to sell you something – a pill or a policy or a war or a politician. Don’t let them do it.
If you wake up in the morning, then smile, you’re ahead of the game. Live that one day as if it were your last. You don’t need a near-death experience to teach you to enjoy life as long as you have it. Most of us don’t know when our string will run out, and it’s just as well.

Nobody knows the date for the end of the world. For all we know a killer gamma ray burst could be due to strike tomorrow and we’d never know until it was too late.
However, given that we’ve have survived for millennia we will continue to survive. So, no, 2012 is not likely to do us in.

No. That’s just the myth of the mayan calender. The world didn’t end on January 1st 2000. There’s no such thing as end of the world either. We are smarter than say the dinosaurs for example so we won’t die off for a very long time. And even when we do die it won’t be the end of the world because there will still be other species. Our world has died and been reborn many times so even if it was all destroyed there would still be life.
