Will the 2012 end of world myth be the most wide spread in years?

because of the internet and now a film.
The piont I am trying to get that is this myth going to be more wide spread and have a bigger effect
Y2K was a little different though guys, it involved a computer script error. The only similarity is the apparent ‘rolling over’ of numbers back to 000000 which would supposedly destroy the planet.
The Mayan prophecy however is based upon incredibly accurate ancienct astronomy. Mayans have predicted many MODERN eclipses to the HOUR. Very impressive.
While I don’t think it will happen, I’m still going to have a big night out the night before.

December 2012 was the "end date" of the mayan calendar. It is not necessrily tthe end of the world but it is believed to be since the Maya were accuate in all their predictions

yeah, one end of the world scare pops up every generation. I’m just glad it isn’t the commie nuclear threat we had while I was in grade school, that one wasn’t scheduled it was just something that might happen with no real warning.

Well sure. We have [like you just said] the internet and movies world wide and this involves the whole world. I do not believe for one second the world will end on that day but I sure will watch the movie. The graphics are supposed to be awesome.

The main problem is that the Earth is very badly over populated. The nations around the World are working to murder around 50 million people.
Obama is working to create a One World Government with him in charge of it.
Money use to be made or backed by gold or silver, and a $1 was really worth a $1. Now money is only backed by paper, and the $1 is only worth about 3 cents, and that will get way worse.
