The only similarity is the apparent 'rolling over' of numbers back to 000000 which would supposedly destroy the planet. The Mayan prophecy however is based upon incredibly accurate ancienct astronomy. Mayans have predicted many MODERN eclipses to the HOUR. Very impressive.
